This blog has been in the web wide world for a year now and it has been an interesting journey to see it grow. But what would a celebration be without a cake. I made a very sweet and creamy one for the occasion, with white chocolate, marzipan and sugar decorations, still containing absolutely no calories:
For a chance to win this bead and sequin embellished pincushion, please leave a comment here with the title or date of the blog post you like most (excluding this one!). Feel free to share your blog address, I would like to come for a visit.
The winner will be drawn from all entries posted until midnight GMT (before) May 9th. Good luck!
I just recently came across your blog so in fairness to the contest I read thru all of your blog entries. My favorite remains the one that led me to your blog in the first place. It's from Friday, April 22, 2011 and the name of the entry is Mystic Forest Shawl Pattern. I love the pattern, your photos are beautiful, and I've downloaded the pattern to the top of my waiting list.

Hello!
ReplyDeleteMy favourite post so far must be 'Delft blue bracelet' because I absolutely love the colour combo and it inspired me to try something similar - I actually made my first bracelet and it's going to be present for my mum for Mother's Day :-)
I'm a GFC follower via twitter ('valantev') and my e-mail is: venusnoire1(at)inbox(dot)lv.
Have a good day!
I love the Mystic Forest Shawl Pattern, because it is so beautiful (even the name is beautiful!) and it's very generous of you to share the pattern! I'm a new follower and very happy that I found your blog! :)

I have only just found your blog, and I am pleased I did. Congratulations on your first blogiversary - your blog is filled gorgeous photos of your work, it's lovely.
ReplyDeleteI found it hard to choose just one favourite. I love the Spring Leaves shawl - so delicate and such a beautiful colour (green is one of my favourites too).
But I think I will choose the Seaside bracelets, as I recently learnt how to do Peyote stitch, so I like to see how other people use it. You can find my first attempt at Peyote stitch on my blog: http://kittyballisticscreations.blogspot.com/2011/04/peyote-stitch-bracelet-blue-seed-beads.html
Thank you all for taking the time to come over! I will announce the drawing results tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful work! I'm new to your blog, but looking back through, I really like your wire mailbox post- so cool! :)
ReplyDeleteI love your posts, such great reads!
ReplyDeleteOne of my favies is the chunky aran wallpaper post!
